I haven’t written much lately because I’m not feeling well,  & this will be a strange post, but I am perplexed.

My cat keeps hopping on top of my dresser, going into a basket of miscellaneous stuff, pulling out the turban I wore during chemo, bringing it downstairs, and dropping it next to my desk.

I suppose it’s possible that our house ghost does this.  Or maybe someone is breaking in while I’m out and doing it?  Maybe my ex is gas lighting me by doing this?  These are possible explanations, but they seem less likely than my cat, right?

What’s really strange is that she wasn’t with me when I went through chemo, the turban has been washed and never worn again, and there are many other options of items she could choose from.   Instead, she maneuvers around all the junk on my dresser (there is a lot of junk!) to get to this turban, she carries it downstairs and drops it.  She doesn’t play with it, she doesn’t carry it around, she doesn’t sleep with it; she just drops it and walks away.  She only does this when I’m out, and today is the 5th time she’s done it in the last 2 weeks.

Should I be reading anything into this?   Does she know something I don’t?  Or is she losing her mind?  Am I losing my mind?

So many questions, so few answers.
