From Victim to Wonder Woman

 

Three years ago I wrote-

I am a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and, in many ways, a Train Wreck.

I’m 54, I have three boys and I’m getting divorced after a 23 year marriage, 25 year relationship.

I have health issues, parenting difficulties, financial issues, fear, grief and disappointment.

I also have family, love, strength, resources, insight, intelligence and Yoga.

I think I’ll make it.  I hope I make it.

 

Today I wrote –

I am a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, an employee, and my own personal Wonder Woman.

I’m 57, I have three boys and I am 3 years divorced from a 25 year relationship with a covert narcissist.

My struggles are the same, but now I  have joy, happiness, faith, laughter, music, serenity, instincts, courage, tenacity and an unquenchable search for Truth and my Voice.

I know I’ll make it.
